Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 4 slices cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • salt and black pepper, to taste

Contains processed meat (bacon_cooked). Enjoy in moderation, depending on your goals.

Steps

  1. 1

Heat the oven to 425°F. Toss the sprouts with the oil, salt, and pepper, cut side down on a sheet pan.

  2. 2

Roast until deeply browned and tender.

  3. 3

Toss with the bacon and vinegar and serve.

Tips

  • Cut side down gives the best browning.
  • Brussels sprouts are higher in carbs than other greens, so keep portions to about a cup.
